havent posted anything in quite awhile so i thought i'd start in here! my yellow MSP is still bone stock and running like a champ, even though i did get hit last winter on I635 during one of those wonderful february ice storms we had. almost $5000 in damage by an early 90's accord. anyways, thought i'd let everyone know that im stil around and as soon as my extended warranty runs out im planning on going ape shit on this car cuz i hate getting beat by SRT-4 neons! DAMINT MAZDA 170hp with a turbo, what were you thinking?? that being said anyone who is up for helping me build a 300+hp MSP let me know cuz it will happen!!
oh yea and here's that lovely damage from Feb i mentioned!!

Cool another MSP owner! We don't have too many of those here. Welcome bro. Can't wait to see it put back 2gether. If you want 300hp I think u might have to upgrades the turbo.
What are the plans for it?

Man that's a pricey shopping list. You might be able to get some of that cheaper by shopping eBay or checking the forums. And like I mentioned before you might wanna upgrade the turbo. Most MSP owners end up doin' that to get better power gains.
And you could save cash on the tails by jus simply smoking the & throwing LEDs in them.
Build will be interesting though wish you best of luck with that. Is the car still wrecked?

Looks like a fun build. May I suggest not getting the rx8 wheels? They are so awful heavy, that is like negating one of the power mods, just because you put on the rx8 wheels..

imo add some shit like springs oversized valves stuff in that field and stronger internals... that stuff will do wonders... also on the cams i would do like a 3/4 race cam or full race cam and run a stand alone cpu... and a fat ass trubo.... if you add those you should be well above what you want... im sure what i said will get pricy and there is a lot more to it then just what i said but you get the idea .... you will also need bigger injectors and all that shit bla bla bla ....

yea im still researching my best bet for overall power gains and daily driven functionality! as for the wheels the RX-8 design goes well with the lines of the MSP, however, they are heavy which is why i may just suck it up and get some black OZ superleggura's, just depends on how much money is left after the main build. i always prefer to build something fast before i make it look fast. and for those who are wondering, the car is up and running some may have seen it floating around lenexa, O.P, olathe, or out on i35, 435, or even K7. just look for the bright yellow MSP that passes everyone. anyways, thanks for the advice for those who gave it and i will definately let you guys know when the time comes to go crazy!
and although i may be new to mazda and these forums i still lost the training wheels on car building long ago. check out my old integra a.k.a Silver Bullet!! JDM b18C, custom catback, dc 4-1 header, injen short ram intake, exedy stage 1 clutch, eibach sport springs, 16" RSW gunmetal wheels, falken ziex tires, clarion deck, black type r shift knob, 98 spec taillights, and clear corners.

I'll help you out with that build, sounds like fun. I'll be starting my remodeling of the motor once I move out there to Warrensburg.
