how are we supposed to tell u which way to go if we dont know what the first option is? Going solely off price, I would go for the 2500 option... but it may not be as good as the first one so idk man. $200 isnt that much for a big project like this. If your mystery project is everything you could ever want and its only that much more, do it man. Good luck in whatever you choose to do. I'm sure it will all work out great for you.

found some cams and stuff that are suppose to crank me up in the 200 hp they racing cams for the 2.3duractech in a focus found em for 500$ but unfortunatley they gonna have to wait tell i save more money simply my motor is majorly facked... um ill find the link again for the cams but the idea was port polish 11:1 compresion pistons bored .20 over with these stage2 3/4 racing cams even tho they are supose to be for a focus from what we were understand they will work with our 2.3 duratech engines with a tune... anyways found a reman for 1900 shipped so getting that and saving for the cams in the meantime ill do more research. =)

I'm guessing your not including a tuning solution for the engine build. Personally I would just get a remanufactured engine.

i am doing a reman and im gonna eat the core and save then old engine... the 2700 was including a tune but not a whole lot of mods atm im really looking into shit that should work for my car it apears that most of the 200-2004 focus 2.3 duratechs parts are intercangable atleast internal wise... ill keep you updated may wind up building this extra monster engine and droping it in a 2nd gen rx7 i got a buddy that will give me one lol or maybe ill just put it in my car dunno take a long time to gather the extra money but atleast for now i can plan it out print shit out and dream basically draw up a guideline of what to do then druel over it lol

here is were i found the cams http://focus.c-f-m.com/camshaftsvalvespringscamgearscamtool.aspx tell what you all think if they will fit or not and from what we were understanding they would work with a tune and the plan was 11:1 wiseco pistons and a .020 over bore of course i was gonna have to have the pistons machined with valve realse.... which most of my 2700 was machine work and tune

Why not jus turbo it? You could find a decent kit for a grand or so.

I don't think you could find a decent kit for the 3 for $1000.

The universal kits are pretty cheap. Only thing that might cost is the turbo mani & turbo.
